Polyurethan - Vulkollan

Vulkollan is the oldest, best-known and most powerful polyurethane elastomer. It is a polyester-based polyurethane and has a number of distinguishing characteristics that open up several interesting areas of application: high abrasion resistance, high impact elasticity, good dynamic strength, resistant to oil, grease and solvents, good resistance against ozone, UV rays and high-energy radiation.
Temperature-resistant from -30 to + 80 °C.
Polyurethane elastomers demonstrate a high abrasion resistance under a wide range of conditions. They are resistant against most external influences and have a high elasticity in all hardness ranges. In the hardness range of 35° Shore A to 98° Shore A we process polyester qualities and also microbe- and hydrolysis-resistant polyether qualities.
Areas of application: wheel-, roller and cylinder surfacings / damping elements / clutch elements / seals, wipers/linings/suspension elements/drive elements / cutting strips, punching pads etc.
We can deliver Vulkollan and polyurethane in solid or cell form as a form product and as semi-finished products (plates, bars, tubes).
